Hello! So there's not a day that goes by that I don't get
whistled at. I guess I should be immuned to it by the end of my mission
haha! Who knows! I just think it's hilarious, especially when they try
to speak english to me. "I luv you!" The other day there was one man
saying, "Rubia, rubia, hermana, misionera!!"... Annoying. We invited him
to church and he said he would come because I'm blonde. Not good! This
isn't even natural.
Anyway, I think I like my new comp a lot more.
Shh... I get a long with her and we share a lot of funny moments
together. She's also from Argentina! The other day I tripped for the
first time right in front of the Catholic church, oops! Oh and I was
trying to explain to her and Janet that I was born in California. I
didn't know the word for born so I said, "Mi primero vez aqui en la
tierra." They had a good laugh! Oh translation, (My first time here in
the earth).
We've been having a rough week because I'm new and she's
super new to this area. We walk all day up hills and crazy roads to meet
people and they're never home! We come home drained. I mean drained.
It's starting to get hot here and I have a nice shoe tan-line to show
it. But I'm happy! All is well here in Chile. Grammy Anderson, I got
your package the 29th so right before Halloween! I have a letter from my
sweet parents, G-ma Anderson, and a DearElder from Stacie. Thanks for
all the sweet support and things you tell me. Yo se que este evangelio
es verdadero! I feel it en mi vida cada dia, yo puedo ver la
differencia. Yo estoy muy feliz porque yo conoco mi Padre Celestial.
Keep up the good work folks!
Love,
Hermana Melody Anderson
P.S. I'm still absolutely crazy! Sorry, not sorry.
