Even More Good News!

Dear everybody who reads these,

So great news... No fantastic!!!! As you know Ruben Zambrano is getting baptized this week. Also Lorenzo is getting baptized the same day!!! YEEEEAAAHH. Miracles really do come after difficult times, well I mean we're just reaping and sowing! All that was needed was a little bit of patience. Lorenzo was a tough heart, but now it has been softened. One day he almost told us to stop teaching him, but obviously things have changed. :) He had been praying and reading every night, and received answers through sequences of dreams. I am so jealous that almost every person in Latin America has inspirational dreams. I want dreams like that. Please. Anyway, the only thing that he wasn't doing was acting. When he started to act like praying and reading, he received his answers. This man has truly changed his heart, he used to be so grumpy. Now he laughs more, and I feel he has opened up even more. If he has a question about anything, he'll ask it. 

Well I'm just happy dandy right now, so please pray for them. Pray that everything will go smoothly, so these baptisms will happen. Also Lorenzo had been listening to the missionaries for almost 2 or 3 years. They must have planted a seed deep down in that heart. I know that Jesus Christ lives. Often there are difficult circumstances, but it's all for the better. It's our time to learn and grow. Have our roots planted firmly on the rock of our Redeemer, and everything will be okay. Hope everyone had a great Easter Sunday yesterday, I was just happy to be planning these baptisms with our mission leader.

Dear familia y mis amigos,

How's everybody? I'm pretty sure I just peed from happiness. I can't believe Beth got baptized!!! Let me take that in for a moment. Ahh yeah that was good. I'm so happy. Beth is this pretty lady I know who's married to my studly cousin Nathan. ¡Felicitaciones! That's a great birthday present for Grandma Anderson. Also, Happy Birthday Grandma Anderson!!!! I love you so much and hope you have a fantastic day. I send my love taps to you haha. Or just have grandpa do it for me. Now sending a Happy early Birthday to Alexi!!!!!!Make sure you sing 22 by Taylor Swift for me on the 17th! Sending birthday wishes and kisses. I sent some letters today so they might come a little late, but it's the thought that counts.

So good news: I finished reading the Book of Mormon for the first time on April 8th. I know make fun of me... But I DID IT! I finished it. I've always felt it was true and I continue to feel that way. Prayer is the key. I'm so grateful for the mission, because I know if I wasn't here I probably would never finished it. I was lazy. Now I have a even stronger testimony of it's truthfulness. There's the invitation: Read it, ponder it, and ask God in the name of Jesus Christ if it is true. I did it, you can too. I'm so grateful for this gospel! Have a wonderful week. I know I will!

Conference Weekend!

Dear people,

I'm still here in Fundo El Carmen and I'll be "killing" my compañera... Well I mean she's finishing her mission with me, so I want to make this a great ultimo cambio for her! We have a new fecha for Rubencito, I call him Rubencito because he's a tiny little guy. We've been helping him with the Palabra de Sabiduría, so send prayers his way. I have faith we can find the escogidos who are ready to follow Christ. There's more people just waiting for us! 

General Conference was great, like always. I watched it in english of course haha. I had the option so I hopped on that band wagon. I loved the talk about the spiritual bits (like horse bits) by L. Tom Perry. I love how God calls my attention with things I love. I mean there were so many great talks! I loved hearing their voices. Profeta Thomas S. Monson is so simple and so right, we need to love everyone more and actually show it. If we're disciples of Jesus Christ we need to start acting like it and show it. 

Man, Harm we really are twins... Sorry you got robbed too. We're camera-less people... Now you know exactly how I feel. I've been taking cellphone pictures lately haha it works. We had an activity today with all of the hermanas of Temuco. We got together and we ate. We also have matching shirts, polos with the mission logo. So I'm sitting here and typing in jeans, I feel weird. It's been a very long time! Anway, about the earthquake I didn't feel any of it. I'm so in the south it didn't affect me, but I don't know about Lota (my first area)...
