AY CARAMBA!‏ {November 17th}

Hola muchachos/muchachas:

This week was great! We had the opportunity to enter into more homes. Though it was weird 'cause they didn't want anything with the gospel. I mean all I could do was pray for their hearts to be softened, which we do everyday. I just hope una semilla quedo en sus corazones, because we tried our best. Plus we have another week to better ourselves! Always time to change ad better ourselves. I love that about the Atonement. We are given so much.

On wednesday we had interviews with President Bluth in Lota. I loooove Lota and my mission parents, they're so good to us. My interview went well, I always receive so much advice that I need to hear. Plus while I was there surprisingly they had an activity going on in the church. I was able to see members that I hadn't seen for a year!!! They were so happy and so was I. There were people that remembered me... I felt so special hahaha. Lota was my first sector, which I so adore. It was so good to see them! The Lord continues to bless me everyday. I know it and I can feel it everyday. Thanks for all of your prayers, it means a lot to me.

Today we went to go bake kuchen with a member, delicious and easy! She's so sweet and bakes for a living, she has her own little store on the side of her house. So that was fun, also my DL told me he has my package from my g-ma Anderson and I'll get it tomorrow. Good news. Also glad to hear Logan is recuperating. Blessings, count them one by one... :)

My Heart Skips A Beat...‏ {November 10}

Dear all y'all:

This week was interesting, just like every week. So I'll just tell what I can remember... Which isn't much, my memory has gone down the drain! Anyway, on saturday there was a baptism in the branch. We came since we invited Rodolfo our converso to come. Guess what? I got convinced to sing a duet with E'Marble for a musical number hahahaha. Last minute with absolutely no practice. We sang, "siembra gozo" (scatter sunshine)... I was terrified. He was like I'll sing the first verse solo and then we'll sing together. He left me singing ALONE the second verse... SO SCARY. I was so nervous. I started singing faster hahah 'cause my heart was crazy fast, but everyone said I sang beautifully. Of course I sing better than most of people here... Sorry that was rude, but if you were here you'd understand. Also found some new people to teach, which is exciting.

Meanwhile, I just hope everyone keeps the Centers Family and Elder Center in their prayers. I only wish the best for him and them. I pray everything will turn out alright. I hope he realizes how great he is. He's one of the greatest guys I've ever met. I'm sure there's plenty of girls writing about him and their concerns as of right now and publishing it all over facebook. I've never taken a picture with him, but I can remember all the times we spent together. I've seen a huge change in his testimony as he's written me during my and his mission. I am forever grateful that I could be a part of that. He will continue to touch lives of many, just like he's touched mine. I can't put anything into words, but I just pray that everything will be okay.

Love,
Hermana Anderson

ONLY a top 5 this week because I dont even remember anything that happened this week.
1. Our numbers were horrible, but hey.. We can only do better right? Be optmistic and try harder and everything will be better. I know as long as we are obedient and we do what we are supposed to and we put our all into the work that we will be okay. and that we will be able to find a buncch of new people and we will be that much closer to baptizing all of Cañete ;) haha
2. We were able to find Daniela (the lady that contacted us in the street and wanted to learn more) we were able to meet up with her and get to know her a lot more. She lives in the campo and we got permission to go and visit and teach her! I am way excited, I feel like she would be really receptive to a lot of things, so everyone pray. She invited us to join a womens soccer league but they only play on sundays so we cant.. I am super bummed, and I am praying it gets changed to saturdays and I can ball up on these Chileans. haha she also invited us to Zumba, but you know.. missionaries cant dance so we had to deny.. too bad, because I could show all my hot moves to them. haha
3. CAMBIOS. My mom hasnt left me yet, but we got 2 new elders in Cañete. They are both super chill, and its pretty cool. but they took us out of our district and put us in a new one. Oh well, its cool. haha thats about it for cambios.. lol
4.We had super good almuerzos this week! (lunches) Members here are pretty chill, and I love them. and their food. (haha fat) But yesterday in relief society one of the ladies said something.. our president told the members that they shouldnt feed the missionaries so much because they are becoming obese. haha that sucks huh? Its a good thing I need to lose all this weight ive been gaining! haha
5. I love my mom (my trainer in the mission) hermana Anderson.. but I think we have too much fun jammin out to EFY songs. haha Go youtube .. Children go where I send thee.. THE WORK and that is the song thats one of my FAVS right now. haha oh what the mission does to you.. haha
Even though Spanish is super hard, and learning a language is difficult.. I really am grateful for the oppurtunity that I have to learn the language. I know it will help me when I get home and I know I have the oppurtunity to share my experiences and my stories with the people of Chile. I am grateful that I get to speak Spanish and I hope and pray every day that it will get better. ahha but as long as I am diligent in my studies, I know I can learn so much more and I can share my testimony so much stronger. I love this gospel, and I am so grateful that so many people are able to recieve this gospel.. Its such an amazing time we live in!
Happy late Halloween and happy early thanksgiving.
Much love to all, Hermana NonuBlack heart (cards)

An interesting week...‏

Well our week was quite interesting. Two days we were sick and were told to stay home. :( Sad day! Or sad days. Haha anyway we broke a goal of contacts this week! 202. That was mostly from Halloween, sometimes people don't want to talk to us but I invite them to church anyway haha. With a smile everything is okay. Plus we had an activity on saturday for dia de los santos and we contacted everybody, well almost everybody. So that was great! Later on we went to a baptism that was in Los Alamos, we invited Rodolfo but info got mixed up and he thought it was in Cañete. Crapola. Though it was a nice service in a tiny chapel, it was a mother with her 2 daughters. Presh. Then when going back there was no buses going to Cañete so we were waiting... Waiting with our Zone leaders: E'Medina & E'Marble. They are funny kids.

Anyway the lady who was baptized tried to get her friend to give us a ride, but they only took us to Temuco Chico which is a smaller town. So we waited there for buses to come by. Meanwhile E'Marble was sick and he was in pain. Let me talk about weeping, waling and gnashing of teeth... Ughh hahaha. Poor kid. E'Medina prayed for a bus to come, and we were blessed. Anyway I just thought that was hilarious, sorry hard to explain but I guess I understand.

Well today we found out cambios and I'M STAYING!! YAYYY... Finishing this training of Hna. Nonu, hoping I'll have her 'kill' me hahah. That would be the best Christmas present ever. So we're gonna DO WORK this cambio! It's gonna be great. I love her, I truly feel like she has become one of my best friends. I'm so blessed to have been placed with her. E'Medina 'died' and went home. So E'Marble will have a new ZL, and the other elders are gonna be in a trio. Crazy stuff. Well I love you all just as usual and wish only the best. Oh Harm and I are now considered old farts in the mish. Dang it. Though nobody knows it. ;) Love all y'all! Have a great one.
