Lovin' Cañete!‏

Hi.

This week was grrrreat! I loved every bit of it haha. Funny story, I came straight to Cañete but I guess I was supposed to go to Concepción first... My comp was waiting for me there, but I had no clue. So when I arrived in Cañete nobody was there, there I was this typical gringa sitting next to her bright pink suitcases waiting for somebody to come. I kind of freaked out because I didn't have a cell phone to call anybody, but I asked a man if I could use his. Turns out the church was right infront of the terminal. The man went to go talk to someone, because the number I had wasn't the right one. Well long story short, the branch president came and he took me to his house to hang out with his wife. I was there until 9 o'clock at night waiting for my comp and the zone leaders to come get me. Though I loved it, I got to know hermana Gabriela on a personal level. She served a mission, so we sat and talked about everything. Everything turned out okay. Crazy, but fun day. 

My comp is awesome! Hermana Van De Merwe is her name and she's from Draper, UT. She's 21 and turns out I will be 'killing' her this cambio. Dang it. I'm 'killing' somebody again. So I have to learn this sector in 6 weeks!! WAHHOO. Also we had a baptism on saturday! So that felt good, I just came and got to enjoy a baptism. We also found a lot of new people to teach this week, so I'm excited. Everything is great here in Cañete. :) I can't wait for another week! Plus this branch is huge compared to all of the other sectors I was in! Also I love the house here, it's just us and we have so much space! Well love you all and wish you the best.

Just got here, and now I'm leaving!‏ {August 11th}

Dearest family and friends,

Well found out today I am leaving tomorrow to Cañete. I'll be with another gringa, YAAAY! It'll be good. I'm so glad I get to know more of Chile. This will now be my 4th area. Crazy stuff. They closed my area and now it's just one. Llaima was split into 2 sectors before, with 4 hermanas but now it's one. Hope that made some sense. Anyway, Hna. Gallardo will be with Hna. Resek who was already living in our house. She was in Llaima1 and I was in Llaima2. Well I know I won't be sleeping tonight. I love packing so much... I'll only heard good things about Cañete, so it's gonna be great! I'm so excited. Especially knowing every sector I've been in, there was a reason I was called to work there. I'm a little bummed to leave some people I was just getting to know. 

Oh, I received the cutest letters from girl's camp!! I feel so loved. Thank you so much, that made me really happy. Thanks! Sorry Sam didn't have too much fun with getting his wisdom teeth out. I was just crazy when I got mine out haha... Have a great week!! I love you all!!

P.S. My zone was soo much fun. The elders always photobombed my camera hahah sorry.

HI. So... Feliz Cumpleaños para mi hermano Samuel!!!!!!! I miss you bro! You're getting too guapo, you have to stop it. If I was there I'd totally be polishing Dad's guns infront of those gals. Just a warning girls for when I get there. Joke, maybe. This week was so much better! The girls in the house did a surprise 1 year party for me. They bought me some cake, and made me a sign. HAAAAAARRM, Happy One Year giiiirl!! I miss you just like always!! I still talk about you all of the time... Oops haha. People can hate. 

We had a lot lessons with member this week, and it felt so great! We also met two new people, Eugenio and Maria Eugenia. We invited them to get baptized and they said they will when they know it's true. So we are gladly here to help them know! By the way, they're not related in any way. We haven't gotten a hold of Ana in awhile, but we pray for her always. We'll try looking again this week! 

Today I got to meet up with Hna. Ferrin (maybe fav comp) and eat with her! She's leaving next week to Kaysville, and her family should be dang happy. I'm pretty dang happy for her, I love that woman so much. We talked about how Fundo El Carmen is and the members everything. It was so good to be with her. Today is a start of a great week. Testimony meeting was awesome yesterday, everyone was crying just like they do at home. Kidding, not really. Though it was really nice to hear the members share their testimonies. I love hearing conversion stories, they're so inspiring. I love you all. Spoil Sam-bo for me, and give 17 love taps for me why don't cha?
